two months behind rent.
I am having a severe financial hardship right now. I graduated Intellitec College and was expecting to step into a good job with my associate degree in medical billing and coding. I've been applying to jobs for months with no luck. I fell prey to an employment scam, thinking I was getting a job, but instead I was frauded. I gave the company all my information and accepted a check to pay for "supplies." I did what I thought I was supposed to for this new job instead my account was emptied, and they gave me a counterfeit cashier's check. That put me into a negative balance and took all of my savings. I can’t seem to catch up. I am drastically falling behind on bills with just my disability check to pay for everything. Two weeks ago, I was in a car accident and I afford to fix my car. My cellphone is shut off due to failure to pay. Im two months behind on rent. My daughter's birthday is in a week. I have no money, There's no food in the house. I need help.

Not all Heroes needing assistance are able to be matched successfully with a specific non-profit partner. In these instances the Coordinated Assistance Network allows Heroes to self post their request on the isupportveterans.org platform so that private donations can be collected for their specific need.
