Eviction is being filed
I am a single mom of 3 kids ages 9, 12, and 13. We were homeless due to a domestic violence situation and were finally able to get into an apartment with the help of state assistance. If we do get evicted, we will be homeless again and living on the street since we do not have a vehicle. I have been searching for work daily but have not yet found employment due to our location and not having a vehicle and I have had several medical issues that have required emergent surgeries. Along with my health, the holidays and being the sole parent in my household, I have ran out of options and resources to help me and my kids to just survive. I have no idea what options I have left to take care of my kids and myself. Without this help, I will be more focused on where my kids and I will be sleeping and avoiding the winter temperatures in eastern Washington rather than obtaining employment to regain self sufficiency for me and my children.

Not all Heroes needing assistance are able to be matched successfully with a specific non-profit partner. In these instances the Coordinated Assistance Network allows Heroes to self post their request on the isupportveterans.org platform so that private donations can be collected for their specific need.
