Unable to pay Oct 28 electric bill fully.
I am requesting temporary assistance for electricity and food expenses due to financial hardship following the loss of my BAH income in September. My only income is VA compensation, which covers rent, car, and insurance, leaving me unable to meet other basic needs. I recently paid $526 in electric arrears, but I am still short $241 with a payment arrangement until the 23rd. I only receive $23 in food stamps, which is insufficient. I am scheduled to take my NBCOT board exam on Nov 16, with results expected by Nov 22, and I am actively interviewing for jobs. Any assistance during this time would be greatly appreciated. Not all Heroes needing assistance are able to be matched successfully with a specific non-profit partner. In these instances the Coordinated Assistance Network allows Heroes to self post their request on the isupportveterans.org platform so that private donations can be collected for their specific need.
