Cannot afford to pay this months rent and at risk of being homeless.
Finding work in Los Angeles after college has proven to be a significant challenge for me. The highly competitive job market, combined with the city's high cost of living, has made securing employment a daunting task. I have been struggling to get on my feet after completing my naval contract with little to no help from the VA. I am facing stiff competition for limited job openings, requiring persistence and a strong network to break into my desired field. I am trying my hardest, but it is becoming unbearable and I am having thoughts of giving up. The cost of living in LA can make the job search even more strenuous, as finding affordable housing while managing student loans can be a difficult balancing act. Despite these challenges, I continue to persevere in my pursuit of career opportunities in the vibrant but demanding city of Los Angeles.

In these instances the Coordinated Assistance Network allows Heroes to self post their request on the isupportveterans.org platform so that private donations can be collected for their specific need.
